Kate Sullivan brings 20 years of experience as a communications practitioner working for public, agency and governmental organizations. Kate specializes media relations and corporate communications in online travel and technology.
Previously, Kate was director of communications for Cendant (now Travelport), managing consumer and business programs for CheapTickets.com, Lodging.com and Travelport, as well as the $1.2 billion acquisition of Orbitz.com. Kate also has significant experience in the financial services industry, where she spent five years with U.S. Trust Company of New York. Kate was formerly a Public Information Officer for The New York State Banking Department where she managed press relations and consumer inquiries, as well as speech-writing and briefing responsibilities for the Superintendent of Banks, as well as other New York State government officials. Kate began her career at the United Nations, where she was Associate Editor of the UN’s global employee newsletter The Secretariat News. Kate holds a bachelor’s from Fordham University in New York City.
When not attending to her clients needs, Kate is an active volunteer. She provides consulting and other volunteer services to non-profit organizations with a focus on families dealing with addiction, as well as lung cancer advocacy.
